{"id":1489,"date":"2018-06-19T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-18T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mgi-bpo.hu\/szakmai-hirek\/online-invoicing\/"},"modified":"2021-04-23T10:46:12","modified_gmt":"2021-04-23T08:46:12","slug":"online-invoicing","status":"publish","type":"szakmai-hirek","link":"https:\/\/mgi-bpo.hu\/en\/news\/online-invoicing\/","title":{"rendered":"About Online Invoicing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Online Invoicing System is available on the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineszamla.nav.gov.hu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/onlineszamla.nav.gov.hu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>When invoices are issued by<strong> invoicing software<\/strong>, invoice data shall be transmitted to the Tax Authority without human intervention via the Internet after the invoice is made.<\/p>\n<p>In case of <strong>forms<\/strong> \u2013 for example, manual invoicing with invoice pad \u2013 invoice data will have to be recorded on a web interface.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Reporting obligations and deadlines<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 651px; height: 387px;\" src=\"\/uploads\/images\/Online_sz%C3%A1mla_EN.jpg\" alt=\"tax firm budapest\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>About registration<\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The taxpayer subject to reporting shall be registered in the Online Invoicing System on the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineszamla.nav.gov.hu\/regisztracio\/start\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/onlineszamla.nav.gov.hu\/regisztracio\/start<\/a><br \/>\nTo facilitate registration, the <strong>National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary<\/strong> has published a video in Hungarian, which is available on the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=1mcm_027-Cs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=1mcm_027-Cs<\/a> It is worth checking out before starting the registration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">User registration<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Each user shall be created on the online interface. The primary user can create the secondary user and the technical user. Different accesses are different permission levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Natural persons providing data on behalf of the taxpayer on the online invoicing interface:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>primary users<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">secondary users<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">In case of data provided from invoicing software the name of all the data necessary for the use of machine-machine interface is the technical user.<\/span><\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 700px;\" border=\"15\" cellspacing=\"1\" cellpadding=\"5\" align=\"left\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Who should be the primary\/secondary user?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in companies where there is no appointed executive officer to perform economic, financial tasks, the <strong>primary user must be the managing director<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>as a secondary user, the person who is actively involved in the invoicing process, who is responsible for issuing the invoices is required to be registered as s\/he is able to keep track of possible errors\/malfunctions that may arise during the provision of data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Simplified registration<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The registration process has been simplified in many ways compared to the past:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>after the identification on the Customer Portal, it will be enough to give the tax ID of the private individual, the other data will be automatically exchanged in the background between the Tax Authority and the Customer Portal<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">it will also be possible to add a new primary user to the existing registration<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">VAT group registration is also possible<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">the appearance of the\u00a0 permissions became simpler<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>When registering, you should pay attention to the following:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>since it is necessary to provide the tax identification number of the private individual who makes the registration, it is good if the <strong>tax card<\/strong> is in hand before starting the process<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">the <strong>username<\/strong> chosen by the users shall include lower and upper case letters without accent, numbers and it can consist of min. 6 and max. 15 characters.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">the <strong>password<\/strong> chosen by the user shall include lower and upper case letters without accent, numbers and it can consist of min. 8 and max. 15 characters. Do not include special characters!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">the phone number of the taxpayer <strong>must<\/strong> be given, which can start with +36 (it is requested twice in the system)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Default penalty<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If data is not provided at all to the tax authority, or provided belatedly or incompletely of invoices with a VAT of at least HUF 100,000, it may result in default penalty of up to HUF 500,000 per invoice. For private individuals the default penalty can be a maximum of HUF 200,000 per invoice.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 700px;\" border=\"15\" cellspacing=\"5\" cellpadding=\"5\"
