What is a management representation letter (teljességi nyilatkozat)?

The management representation letter is management’s written confirmation to the auditor that it has provided all material information and that responsibility for the financial statements lies with management. It forms part of the audit evidence and is usually requested before the report is issued. It supplements the other procedures; it does not replace them.
