When is a statutory audit mandatory in Hungary?

As a general rule, an audit is mandatory if the company exceeds both thresholds in two consecutive financial years: the annual net revenue threshold and the average headcount threshold. (It is worth checking the thresholds in force for the given year.) In addition, an audit is always mandatory for public interest entities and in certain regulated sectors.
