New Public Holiday in Hungary
The National Assembly has declared Good Friday a public holiday, so from April 14, 2017 Easter will be a four-day public holiday. Good Friday is a public holiday in 14 European countries, including Denmark, Finland, Bulgaria and Estonia.
This is important information for employers and employees, while elementary school pupils and high school and vocational school students will not be effected, since for them Good Friday has already been a holiday. The last day of school before spring break is April 12, 2017 (Wednesday) and the first school day after the break is April 19, 2017 (Wednesday).
With this decision there are 11 public holidays in Hungary, which fall or may fall on weekdays:

March 15.
