Tax Conference 2025 – Brief, Concise, to the Point

Last Thursday, we once again held our annual Tax Conference, a tradition among our clients for over 15 years. We are proud that this series continued uninterrupted even during the pandemic years.

This event is completely free for our clients because we believe that their success is our success as well. To ensure their businesses thrive, they need the right information – and we help filter through the noise of regulatory changes to highlight what truly matters.

Who is it for?

Primarily small and medium-sized enterprises with some form of international connection – whether through foreign owners or international clients. For many of our clients, it is essential to choose a service provider that is well-known in the market, operates transparently, and whose integrity is beyond question. We are especially proud of this.

Topics covered:

  • Cybersecurity – Presented by Ágnes Sütő, co-project leader of the CyberShield initiative. We sincerely thank her for joining us and introducing this highly useful initiative, which aims to raise awareness about digital fraud and help prevent it. More information: kiberpajzs.hu

  • VAT in Focus – Our tax lawyer partner, Zsófi Kovács, analyzed the latest changes in VAT regulations.

  • Employment and Contributions – Ildikó Kovács, Payroll and HR Expert, and Szilvia Sarkadi-Nagy, Managing Partner at MGI-BPO and specialist in payroll, tax, and accounting services, presented the latest updates on employee tax and contribution rules.

  • Technical Administration – Patrícia Baranyai, Client Relations Officer and Office Manager, gave a surprise talk on the complex registration and authorization processes affecting companies.

  • KIVA, Corporate Tax, and More – László Killik, Managing Partner at MGI-BPO and expert in audit and tax services, summarized other “exciting” developments.

Community and Connections

It was wonderful to see both AUDIT department clients (audit services) and TAX department clients (accounting and tax advisory) attending in large numbers, along with our account managers. We were particularly delighted to welcome a client who attended the very first conference 15 years ago and was with us again this year. This is the greatest feedback for us: we create long-term value.

At the end of the conference, a communal lunch provided an opportunity for informal conversations – sometimes about professional matters, sometimes about where the children go to school. It feels great to work in a community where the services we provide genuinely matter to our clients.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We’ll definitely see you again next year.
