On Friday, June 5, we spent a truly special day together: the entire BPO team visited the Western Experience Village in Tordas for a full-day program. As the closing event of the May 31 reporting period—and at the same time a team-building occasion—this day offered the perfect opportunity to step away from our everyday routines and strengthen what truly matters: the harmony of our team.
Even the journey itself was a shared experience, as we traveled together by bus, which already helped set the tone for the day. Upon arrival, we were welcomed in true western style, greeted with pálinka and traditional pastries.
Throughout the day, both in the morning and afternoon, we took part in exciting activities, including treasure hunts, escape rooms, skill-based games, shooting, bull riding, and a paired obstacle course. These challenges not only entertained us but also strengthened our collaboration, communication, trust, and problem-solving skills. Shared experiences like these help us get to know each other better and work even more effectively together in our daily tasks.
One particularly memorable moment was the tug-of-war, where the BPO team competed against a group of schoolchildren—guaranteeing plenty of laughter and a great atmosphere!
We certainly didn’t go hungry at lunch: a generous platter ensured everyone could recharge for the afternoon activities.
One of the highlights of the day was the western dance session, where our HR colleague Peti even managed to get the men dancing. We wrapped up this cheerful part of the program with a delicious cake.
Another important moment was the announcement of the winner of the office quiz held throughout May, organized to celebrate BPO’s 25th anniversary. It was also a great opportunity to look back on past years and celebrate together.
Fortunately, the weather was on our side, and the rain stayed away all day, allowing us to fully enjoy all the activities without interruption.
Full-day events like this not only provide relaxation and fun but also strengthen team cohesion, motivation, trust, and commitment to one another. After such a day, we returned home not just as colleagues, but as a close-knit community that can truly rely on each other.
Thank you to everyone for the participation and the wonderful experiences!
